I had my spiritual awakening in 1999 by 2 amazing teachers, Sandy Stevenson and Jasmuheen.

I was fortunate to be able to attend many workshops by Sandy in England, over the following years.

The wisdom and knowledge she shared with me became a rock that a stood on through some very challenging personal years. Her unwavering example of how to stand in your truth, regardless of outward circumstances, regardless of what others say, was an inspiration that will stay with me forever.

Since 1999, Sandy has also become a Beloved friend.

I wrote this song in gratitude to Sandy, for all that she is, and all that she taught....and to her soul for agreeing to play this role to perfection in my current incarnation.

'Sandy'

Without you Sandy,

And your perfect tuition,

I know long ago

I would have aborted my mission

You led by example

And I knew all was sorted,

The rock that I leant on

I was always supported

I regain my mastery

I had the best teacher,

Where e'er she goes now

I know how to reach her

No checking to see

If she has emailed,

Don't look to the seas

For her ship has sailed

The wind has blown it

Into my heart,

I need only look inward

That's where it will start

The perfection in which

You played your part,

Is in me forever

We are One, not apart

For years, you were

my comfort blanket,

Now I have risen

I'll see you... at the Banquet

My love and gratitude

To you, can't be measured,

What you did for me

Is eternally treasured

You always shine brighter

Than the brightest star,

Where ever you go

I know you're not far

You stood firmer

Than a Standing Stone,

You taught me that

I am never alone

You taught me to discern

All that is true,

Now, when I see that white feather

I will know it is you
